I’ve worked extensively within the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) community for a number of years, working on both on short and long term contracts. With young homeless people at The Albert Kennedy Trust, across a wide spectrum of issues including; anxiety, depression, drug and alcohol issues and sexuality, as well as family and relationship crisis situations.
I have also worked with male survivors of sexual abuse and rape at Survivors UK. My work at The Metro Centre in Greenwich has involved working with a wide cross section of the community on issues including; addiction (chemsex and alcohol), sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, bereavement, sexual health (HIV/AIDS) and gender identity issues.
My exposure to patients suffering severe mental health conditions was undertaken at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM).
